I decided to make a new character to just level up the normal way. While leveling, I was clicking on some items in my inventory bags and I accidentally double clicked on the level 80 boost that was sitting in my "Shared Inventory" slot. What happened next is confusing - I received a bunch of level 60 & 80 account bound items in my bags ( enough
Mesmer. 80 boost Mesmer - [HELP] Build to farm HP. I played mesmer to about level 10 and was loving greatsword. I decided to boost it (likely without learning to play properly) and am having survivability issues. The boost puts you in all solider exotics and with a GS and Sword/Pistol. I've been looking for archived builds that I can use while
because it says so when you use it. It says it unlocks lvl 80 waypoints. CzarTyr • 6 yr. ago. The boost says in it's description it unlocks all level 80 wps. lnxam • 6 yr. ago. No, it says "Explore max-level Tyria with starting waypoints unlocked in Dry Top, Frostgorge Sound, and Straits of Devastation."

Using the level 80 boost gives you a set of exotic gear, yes, but it will be bound to the character you used the boost on. On the other hand, you can use it on a character that has already reached max level, like your thief. Click the item again to cancel the trial and go back to your original level or make the trial permanent. If suddenly being level 80 is too overwhelming, you could level normally and save the boost for an alt, or consume it on a character that's already level 80. When you do finalize it, you'll get some nice bonus items!
The boost is always there, and lets me try how an 80 version feels, but its going to be overwhelming. But it gives you a great taste of what's to come. Playing a fresh character teachers you the synergy of your skills and abilities, and how they actually play off each other and together in the grand scheme of combat.
Depends how much you're enjoying the leveling experience. I'd go for the boost if you think you'd enjoy being confused in level 80 content more than being bored in levelling content. You probably will be confused if you boost, but you'll probably be confused regardlesss.
Well it seems you did what most people do. Create character, be totally lost on what to do, ask reddit, then I'm Not sure if you are to this step yet but be angry when everyone says start a lvl 1 and lvl it to 80 the real way to learn mechanics of both the game and class. Then after you have lvled the new mesmer to lvl 80 you should have

Tyria mastery (Pact-Mastery, e.g. auto-loot, ): core maps of the base game + LS2. The expansions were meant for seasoned players who have been level 80 for a long time. If you're new to the game, boosting to level 80 and expecting to just breeze right through with level 80 gear is a mistake. Heart of Thorns is tough. Good luck with that. No key missed, those are from story rewards, and not just level up.. Let's see. lvl 38 - Karma booster. This and AP chests arethat the only remaining source of this specific type of Karma booster.
the boost is ok. but spends all your points and gives an ok set of gear. personaly after hitting 80 on engi and having spent all my points already, i found having to hunt hero challenges to level a mastery slow, but now im leveling a Mesmer and rather than jumping to 80, im saving points after getting stuff i needed to level.
The Level-80 Boost is an item available to all players who purchase Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, and will allow you to boost one character on your account to max level. In this
Games and other software often do these artificial limitations to create a problem that is usually solved with a paid service. You could use that on an already level 80 character just to get rid of it, but if you want to avoid the feeling of waste and have no character slots available, you'd have to buy a slot. They reworked a bunch of traits a few years ago, that's all. Whatever it gives you is what Anet intends for it to be now. Are you trying to replicate the build exactly or just get a Celestial core-Rev build that works? Or a option to delete this boost.. You can already use it on a lvl 80 character. It'll simply give you the same goodies a boostet character would get (equipment, bags, consumables). 2. 1.
The level 80 boosts don't give you access to all the weapons available. I used my level 80 boost on a second warrior and to my disappointment it only gave me axes, a rifle, and a shield. I had wanted a greatsword, mace, and warhorn. You will have to buy the weapons you want from the trading post. Most exotics are cheap except for a few stat
Celestial is really fun on a number of builds, and certainly more fun than soldiers was. I've done the same thing with the level 80 boosters, wait until I'm almost 80 to use them lol. Many exotic weapons can be purchased in the trading post as well for a low price if you just find yourself struggling. Don't worry, it all comes together.
